There is plenty see and do in the area, including an 18th-century living farmstead, replica cabin, limestone marker, and visitor center exhibits. Nearby is the Cherokee National Forest and his father’s Crockett Tavern Museum in Morristown. The Nolichucky River provides excellent fishing opportunities for a variety of fish.
