Barefoot Camp & RV Park is a privately owned campground surrounded by a working cattle ranch located on the Colorado River in the scenic Texas Hill Country, 3 miles East of Bend, Texas in San Saba County. This secluded spot is a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There are 38 pull through sites with water and electric. Visitors enjoy camping, fishing, kayaking, photography and viewing wildlife. The Leaning Bluff is a great place for birding. If you wish to attend, be sure to sign up sooner than later for space is limited.

Our hosts for the rally are Teresa and Curtis Atchley and Kay and John Irwin.

Around the Area:

+ Colorado Bend State Park — take a hike in Gorman Falls to Spicewood Springs, a spring-fed waterfall, or take a Wild Cave Tour with a guide.
+ Visit a winery such as Fiesta Winery in Lometa, Texas.
+ The Regency Suspension Bridge — a bridge over the Colorado River. It gets it’s name when cars drive over the bridge making you feel the actual “suspension.”
+ Youngs Burrito & BBQ is a great spot in San Saba. Just make sure to get there in plenty of time, because they close once the food runs out!
+ In the mood for some pizza? San Saba also has La Citta, which out-of-towners swear it’s worth the try.
