Carolinas Club - 2026 Mills River NC Wagon Wheel Rally

Rally capacity is 38 total Airstreams (32 in the wagon wheel, and 6 additional off to the side).

NOTE: This is a BOONDOCKING (i.e., NO water or power hookups) event located on a level field that will accommodate Airstreams of any size. Some overflow parking will be available adjacent to the Wagon Wheel.

After Hurricane Helene interrupted the 2024 rally, and with a fantastic return in 2025, Scott & Carol are bringing you the “Mills River Wagon Wheel Rally 2.5” in 2026!

Come be part of our second completed wheel and park your Airstream in the legendary “Wagon Wheel” formation at the Mills River Brewing Co. Airstream founder Wally Byam believed there’s magic inside the Wheel — where people gather, connect, and share adventures.

Rally Highlights

• Wagon Wheel Parking begins Thursday, Oct. 8 (9AM–5PM)

• Friday evening pizza dinner

• Saturday morning breakfast in the brewery taproom

• Mills River Brewing Co. next door with taproom, full bar, food trucks, and gathering space

Campsite Information

• Boondocking only — no water or power hookups

• Level field, accommodates all Airstream sizes

• Solar and/or generators recommended

• Quiet hours: 10PM–7AM (please respect neighbors if using a generator)

• Sewer dump available before 11AM on Sunday

• Limited overflow parking (6 spots) next to the Wagon Wheel

Registration Details

• No reserved sites — space is first-come, first-served

• Register & pay your rally fee via the Carolinas Airstream Club website

• Please DO NOT contact Mills River Brewing Co. directly

• First 32 registrations are guaranteed a Wagon Wheel spot

• Additional 6 overflow slots available (total capacity: 38 rigs)

• Waitlist will open once full — cancellations move overflow rigs into the Wheel in registration order

• No campsite charge — but space is very limited!
