Palo Duro Canyon Hikin’ and Bikin’ Rally

October 2 – 5, 2025

Welcome to Palo Duro Canyon State Park, which is the second largest canyon in the United States. Descend 600 feet to the floor of the Canyon where we will be spending our time. The Park is 27,173 acres and 120 miles long, there for us to explore on one of many trails. Please join in on this Rally, as we hike or bike the great outdoors, with great panoramic views as well as great views of the night sky.

As this is a Texas State Park, the sign-up is going to be a bit different. And YES, it needs to happen early in order to acquire spots as soon as the “Reservation Window” is open, generally 6 months prior to the rally dates. We will be staying in TWO adjacent camping areas, within the Juniper Loop. Wolfberry Group area. It has 9 sites with water and electric (50-30A). The park required that all 9 sites be reserved together, so the club has reserved and paid for these sites already. Three of these spots are already taken by the President and the 2 hosts. The first 6 people to sign up via Constant Comment, will be assigned these spots, with a nightly rate of $25. Payment for these spots will be included in their Rally Fee. We will contact the first 6 people to let them know they’re in the Wolfberry Group Area. From the 7th person on, they will have to reserve a site directly through Texas Parks & Wildlife Reservation page, in the Juniper Camp Area, sites 97 – 116. We will be in contact with you, so that you can go online and reserve your spot through TPW.

Again, our Rally group will be in the Juniper Loop, in either the Wolfberry Group Area or the Juniper Camp Area. If you have any questions, please contact either the Dickerson’s or the Ashley’s for more information.
