Lake Brownwood State Park, Texas

Overview: Lake Brownwood is a CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) State Park located 11.9 miles north of Brownwood, TX.

Gonzales, Texas (Region 9 Rally)

Overview: This is your opportunity to experience a larger rally. Some of the planned events include a visit to the "Come and Take It" cannon at the Gonzales museum with a storyteller recreating the stand-off between Santa Anna and the rebel Texans, a golf outing, a tour of Spoetzl Brewery (home of the quintessential Shiner Bock), and a tour of four of the Painted Churches in Schulenberg. Add to that are on-your-own opportunities to visit nearby places to bike, walk, or kayak/canoe. Of course, there is also the best part of our get togethers: chumming around with folks from other clubs in the region and learning new tips and tricks for Airstreaming.

Overview: San Marcos is known as the home to two rivers, the San Marcos and the Blanco, which offer scenic views and excellent opportunities for fishing, swimming, and canoeing. The city also has several parks and playgrounds, as well as a municipal pool. In addition, San Marcos is home to a number of historical sites, including the Hays County Courthouse.

Lake Waco, Texas

Overview: Lake Waco is located in central Texas and is located entirely within the city limits of Waco, Texas. Lake Waco is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operated lake in McLennan County.

Rock Springs, Wyoming (International Rally)

Overview: Rock Springs, incorporated in 1888, is the largest city in Sweetwater County. Downtown Rock Springs has a long history of being a stopping point for everyone from early-day pioneers and bank robbers (Butch Cassidy earned his nickname working at a butcher shop in Downtown Rock Springs!) to modern-day travelers.

Terlingua, Texas (Big Bend Caravan)

Overview: Terlingua was founded as a quicksilver mining town in the 1880s, but the mines (and town) were abandoned by 1942—rendering it a bonafide ghost town. Today, a small but vibrant community persists, and the river guides, retirees, artists, lost souls, seekers, prickly introverts, park rangers, and die-hard desert fanatics that make up the local community are a huge part of what makes Terlingua such a unique, fascinating place to experience.
