This page recognizes our UWAC co-founders, charter members and the many individuals contributing to a successful club. Special thanks to all of our club members who volunteer and put forth the extra effort to host and co-host, volunteer as club directors and officers, and perform the behind-the-scenes work (e.g. newsletter, treasurer, membership etc.) that make our club vibrant and successful. Special thanks to our unit's founders, Ben and Julie Schofield for their tireless efforts to get the Utah WBCCI unit chartered in 2015, and up-and-running successfully. Kudos to all the charter members (Brinton, Clayton/Madsen, Kelsey, Ruskauff, Wyllie, Wade, McLaughlin, VanHook, Karpinski, Vernegaard, Graham, Schofield) who's support and participation has led to the formation of a vibrant and active local club. Thanks to all of you on behalf of the many subsequent members who've enjoyed new adventures and great outings, and forged new life-long friendships.

2023 UWAC Trailblazer Award - Bonnie & John Ruskauff
The inaugural UWAC Trailblazer Award was presented at the 2023 UWAC annual meeting and dinner in Salt Lake City on November 2, 2023 to John & Bonnie Ruskauff. This award is bestowed upon those extraordinary members whose unwavering contributions to our local club go far beyond the ordinary, embodying the enduring spirit of the Wally Byam Creed.
The 2023 award as announced at the meeting:
"On behalf of Utah’s Wasatch Airstream Club, we take great pleasure in formally recognizing Bonnie & John Ruskauff as the distinguished recipients of the 2023 UWAC Trailblazer Award. This award is bestowed upon those extraordinary members whose unwavering contributions to our local club go far beyond the ordinary, embodying the enduring spirit of the Wally Byam Creed.
The UWAC board, members, and affiliates want to sincerely thank you for your great friendship and many years of dedicated service to Utah’s Wasatch Airstream Club. The club could not have flourished and prospered without your steadfast leadership and countless contributions. The numerous adventures you’ve hosted and facilitated, along with the countless hours spent behind the scenes, are testaments to your remarkable commitment to this club.
