For those who want to bring their trailer for the weekend, the Vaughan's have offered up their property nearby for ~15 trailers to boondock.
Come and boondock and enjoy the peaceful, serene backyard “Scottland” at Scott and Deborah Vaughans in Roanoke, VA. Saturday will be a splash day, come and go or stay the whole day, enjoy the pool and view at the Downie home. We will end with a potluck and homemade ice cream! More details to come. Bring your bikes to take advantage of the Roanoke River Greenway or hike up the Roanoke Mountain or parts of the Appalachian Trail. If you are a shopper, walk around the Roanoke Market or take a trip through Black Dog Salvage from HGTV’s Salvage Dogs.
