To make your campsite reservations, call the campground at 828.338.9598, or the campground manager, Kristie, at 910.975.9003 and tell them you are with the Carolinas Airstream Club.
Broad River Campground will be holding 25 sites for us and will give everyone with our club a 15% discount when they reserve if they say they are with the Carolinas Airstream Club. They also will give us use of the community room, that opens to the swimming pool, at no charge!
This is an immaculate new campground located at the foot of the mountains in time to
enjoy the beautiful fall colors! Broad River Campground is on the Broad River with a convenient trail from the campground to the Broad River Greenway. The campground has a spacious activity
building with a covered porch overlooking their new swimming pool.
It is within an hour to Greenville, SC and the Swamp Rabbit Trail, 25 minutes to Forest City with multiple restaurants and the Thermal Belt Trail, 90 minutes to Linville Falls on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 20 minutes to Uptown Shelby with all of its shops and restaurants. In addition, it is only 35 minutes from the Tryon Equestrian Center which typically has free equestrian competitions on the weekends along with several good restaurants in the complex. There are also several wineries in the area for a relaxing afternoon tasting; Parker-Binns Vineyard, Mountain Brook Vineyards, Overmountain Vineyards and others.
