Boone KOA Campground_021

Come Join Us for a Cool Summertime Adventure in the North Carolina Mountains!

August 13-16, 2020

Boone KOA

123 Harmony Mountain Lane, Boone, NC 28607

For a real high, stay overnight at the Boone KOA, the highest KOA east of the Mississippi at an altitude of nearly 4,000 feet!
Nature and comfort meet here, a spot with long Pull-Thru RV Sites under tall trees, a pool, arcade games and even a farm animal mini zoo, all set atop a scenic mountain just 4 miles from city services.
Come experience KOA’s peaceful country setting and cool mountain breezes. The average summer temperature is 73 degrees. Hike miles of footpaths on rugged Grandfather Mountain, the highest peak in the Blue Ridge Range. Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, which winds mere minutes from your campsite. About 9 miles from this KOA is the New River, where you can go tubing or canoeing. The topography and scenery will delight even the most intrepid cyclists: Lance Armstrong trained on the back roads of the Boone area.

No need to make reservations at the campground! This rally overlaps the Smidge of the Blue Ridge Adventure Caravan, and the caravan leaders have already reserved sites for this rally!

You only need to RSVP with Rally Hosts by Clicking Here, and pay when you get to the KOA.

We hope you can join us!
