Location: Crook Campground 33 miles from Payson AZ [Google Map Link]
Registration date – March 9th, 2024
Rally Fee – (non-refundable) $60.00 per person – this includes the camping fee.
The group campground is just down the road from Woods Canyon Lake in north central Arizona. The rally has one loop reserved that can accommodate 15 rigs arranged around a large covered ramada. This is a dry campground with potable water available in the campground, vault toilets, and and a dump station nearby. Generators are allowed.
Area activities include wildlife viewing, trout fishing, boating, cycling, and photography. Hiking along the Rim Trail leads to spectacular views of the Mogollon Rim and surrounding area and is just a quarter mile from the campground. Another option is to simply relax in the campground. The choice is yours!
Planned Activities:
Wednesday Arrival Day- Happy Hour Meet and Greet. Bring your favorite beverage and a snack to the Ramada and meet your fellow campers.
Thursday- Pastries and fruit will be at the Ramada for breakfast. Bring your own morning beverage. It’s the Fourth of July- Old-fashioned games such as horseshoes and cornhole will be available during the day and during the rest of the rally. There will be a group cookout at the Ramada so bring your favorite protein to grill along with a side dish to share.
Friday- Pastries and fruit will be at the Ramada for breakfast. Bring your own morning beverage. A planned hike will be in the morning for those interested. Bring heavy appetizers to the Ramada along with your favorite beverage for Happy Hour. Dinner on your own. Gather at the Ramada for Left Right Center so bring dollar bills if you would like to play.
Saturday- Pastries and fruit will be at the Ramada for breakfast. Bring your own morning beverage. A planned bike ride to Woods Canyon Lake will leave in the morning for those interested. There will be a group cookout for dinner at the Ramada so bring your favorite protein to grill along with a side dish to share.
