Did the winter slumber or our first two rallies reveal some maintenance needs for your Airstream? If so plan to come out to the Joint Maintenance Rally with the Lake Tahoe Airstream Club at Weed Heights RV Park. You can select one of many tree shaded sites with full hookups in case it’s "too" warm in the sun.
We teamed with the LTAC for a joint maintenance rally last year; it was a big success. Weed Heights offers everything we need this year too: great club house, clean restrooms, good weather, good food and new friendships.
Plan time to visit the Lyon County Museum with its collection of antiques (some many of us used in our youth) and its outbuildings or stop in one of the many restaurants for a meal.
The Maintenance Seminar should be well attended although many may not get their hands dirty, choosing to take the lessons they learned home for tinkering with their Airstreams at a later date.
Dinners; expect at least one cook your own meat plus something to share. It’s too early to speak to Saturday or Sunday’s evening meals but it promises to be great.
With all that’s offered expect and update on RSVPs to make sure there’s food and room for everyone.
