List of Registered Attendees For This Event
Picacho Peak State Park 2025 (February 10-13, 2025) (This is a Monday thru Thursday event)
All campsites have been filled with Registrations. A Waitlist has been started. Any attendance cancellations will be filled from the Waitlist. The Waitlist signup is available from the Registration and Payment Form.
Do not make an independent reservation for an AAC concierge event as a means to bypass a Rally Wait List or to “crash” a full Rally. This practice is often not fair to other campers and can cause a multitude of issues for the Host and Rally Coordinator.
Visitors traveling through southern Arizona on Interstate-10 can’t miss the prominent pointe of Picacho Peak State Park. The peak has been used as a landmark by travelers for centuries!
Picacho Peak is also the location of the most- western conflict of the Civil War, “The Battle of Picacho Pass,” a skirmish between Union and Confederate soldiers. You can learn more at the Ranger Station and from the interpretive trail in the park.
Enjoy the view as you hike the trails that wind up the peak. The park and its surrounding area are known for their unique geological significance, outstanding and varied desert growth, and historic significance.
The park includes a visitor center, park store, campgrounds, picnic areas, ramadas, grills, hiking trails, and a playground.
Arizona Airstream Club holds the reservations for 30 campsites at Picacho Peak State Park. Campsite fees for this event will be $96.50 (3-nights total). This is a Monday thru Thursday event.
Please join us at Picacho Peak State Park February 10-13, 2025. A full moon is scheduled, but it will still have the feel of a dark skies location in the desert.

Daytime on your own. Optional Activities:
Stop into the State Park’s gift shop (at park entrance) for extra information. They have a freezer of ice cream bars, and their prices, I’m told, are better than Dairy Queen.
Hike the trails at Picacho Peak State Park. For a difficult, technical hike, head up the Hunter Trail to the Peak. Sunset Trail also gets you there, but the first 2 miles is a nice, beautiful moderate hike if you want to go out and back and avoid the top. Another moderate hike is Calloway Trail 0.5 mile hike to the saddle. Finally, the 0.4 mile Nature Trail and the 0.2 Children’s Cave Trail are both considered easy and enjoyable.
Nearby check out Rooster Cogbun Ostrich Ranch. Open daily from 9-5 pm. With $15.00 admission you can feed the deer, donkeys, sheep, goats, rabbits, parakeets, ducks, *stingrays, lorikeets and of course the ostrich. (*extra fee)
Across the interstate is a little gift shop called Bowlins, next to Dairy Queen. They have all kinds of Southwestern trinkets but also some nice silver jewelry including pieces by Calvin Begay.
Head to Skydive Arizona in nearby Eloy to watch the jumpers land in the drop zone. This place is fascinating, and people come from all over to skydive here. Afterwards, have a brew or burger and such for lunch at the on-site Bent Prop Saloon and Cookery. If you’ve been meaning to tandem jump or try indoor skydiving, this might just be your chance. Check out their website @skydiveaz.com and also consider GroupOn for deals.
