Birch Bluff Boondocking Rally 2026

In the early 19th century fur trading companies would organize a rendezvous to meet with independent trappers.  It was known as a social hub for this way of life!  Activities would include trading, horse and foot races, target shooting, and drinking whiskey.  During our "rendezvous" we will attempt to stay true to the traditions of this event while updating some of the activities to reflect our airstream culture.  Additional details will become available as we get closer to the start date.  Martin and Jerry will be in character.  Everyone else is invited to join us!

Thursday, 17 September - Early Arrival

12:00 - 1:00 pm      Rally Location Pre Transit, 286 Main Street, New Castle VA 24127

1:00 - 2:00 pm         Escorted Transit to Pruitt Residence

2:00 - 3:30 pm         Parking (Wagon Wheel) and Set Up

3:30 - 4:30 pm         Carpool to Paint Bank for dinner at the "Swinging Bridge" restaurant (optional)

4:30 - 6:00 pm         Group Dinner

Friday, 18 September

1:00 - 2:00 pm         Rally Location Pre Transit, 286 Main Street, New Castle VA 24127
