We will be camping at Brannan Island State Recreational Park. You can find out about the park and campground and make reservations here: https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=487. Details about the campground and the recommended sites for the rally are attached.
- If you want electric and water hookups (no sewer), you will want to select the Olympic Campground. In order to see this, you must select "hook up camping" when searching. As of 7/19/23, there are 9 sites available for Dec 8-10. Sites are $49/night + fees.
- If you want to camp without hookups, then Willow Campground is what you want. You must select "camping" to see these sites. As of 7/19/23, there are 43 sites available for Dec 8-10. Choose your own site, of course, but sites 20-35 are close to a pathway to Olympic and will make easy access to our friends there. Sites ate $31/night + fees.
Besides the camping, a member family who lives in Discovery Bay has opened their doors for those camping nearby to come to their house on the evening of December 9 to enjoy the lighted boat parade in the waterways of Discovery Bay. Other than that, the rally will be very low-key and casual. There won't be a formal schedule of events. Happy hours and meals will be ad-hoc.
No fees will be collected by GBAAC for this rally and no Jotform will be sent out. Please simply email me, jasongrendahl@gmail.com to let me know that you have reserved.
