Our 2020 Camping Schedule
Come join the fun. Any WBAC member is welcome at our rallies.
THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE IS STILL OPERATIONAL, DEPENDING ON DEVELOPMENTS WITH THE COVID VIRUS
We will avoid enclosed spaces, be outside as much as possible, we will practice social distancing and when that is not possible the wearing of masks will be encouraged. As you know, the mask reduces the chance of spreading the virus to others. If you would not practice social distancing and appropriate things like hand washing, use of hand sanitizers and wearing of masks when indicated, consider not joining us for now. We hope you still camp but if you do not want to “play nice”, camp with others of like mind until the craziness it behind us. Instead of pot luck meals, everyone will bring their own food and utensils and plates as we gather for the evening social hour and meal. These things may change as time passes. Whether to camp or not is an individual decision. Whether to camp with a group is an individual decision. The HOTC Executive Committee is unanimous in the opinion that if we are going to have officially sanctioned events we must, at least for now, do it this way.

January 15th - 17th, 2021
HAMM CREEK PARK. Park is on the banks of the Brazos river near Cleburne. Full hookups (there are a limited number) are $24/day. The water/electric sites are a couple of dollars less. There is also a daily entry fee per person/vehicle. They have a total capacity of 30 RV/travel trailer sites so don't dawdle. It is the only place with public access to the Brazos River in Johnson County. Bring your fishing gear and your fishing license along with a pop-up shelter and firewood.
FROM THE PARK: For reservations call 817-556-9311. If no answer, leave a message and park personnel will return your call as soon as possible. They apologize for the inconvenience but they are unable to receive online reservations or payments by credit card or personal check until further notice. Payment by cash is accepted or money orders made payable to "Johnson County." Payment can be made upon arrival at the park. (they will not accept credit card or personal check).
February 19th - 21st, 2021
Possum Kingdom State Park- Book a site in the Spanish Oaks section. 21 sites are currently available. Overflow sites should book in Shady Grove section if it is available. Abilene State Park, Reservations can be made online between April 24th and 26th. https://texasstateparks.reserveamerica.com Ask for a site in the Wagon Circle Group Trailer Area. We will reserve the group rally room which is air conditioned! The park has a swimming pool which may or may not be open.

Balloon Fiesta Rally, Albuquerque, NM. You should already know if you have a space at the Rally. If not, you can book a site on your own at one of the many places around the Fiesta grounds.
Oct. 29th - 31st, 2021
Annual Halloween Rally, LBJ Grasslands, near Decatur, TX. Just let us know if you are coming. And bring firewood and pop-up shelter.
November11th - 14th, 2021
Veteran's Day Rally, Fredericksburg, TX. Rally hosts Sharry and Henry Kahanek. (Reservation info to follow)
December 10th - 12th, 2021
Annual Christmas Rally, Coffee Creek RV Park, Santo, TX. You can book you reservation at any time. until the park fills up. We have reserved the rally room. Call (940) 769-2277 for reservations.
