ATTENTION ALL IOWA CLUB MEMBERS:
President Mike has called a luncheon-business meeting of all Iowa Airstream Club members for Saturday, August 13, 2022:
There are a couple of business items that need membership action and, since there was no rally scheduled for August, the meeting was deemed necessary.
The meeting will be at 11:00 AM at the Pizza Ranch in Newton, IA, at the NE corner of the I-80 and Ia. Hwy. 14 interchange.
The following is the information provided to the newsletter team from Mike. To the members of the Iowa Club: A business meeting will be held on August 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Pizza Ranch at Newton, Iowa. The meeting will be held to discuss and act upon the following: 1 The Constitution of the Iowa Club shall be amended at Article III, Section 7. The amendment is set forth as follows: Amendment to Section 7 of Article III: Section 7 of Article III is deleted and the following is substituted: Amendment Section 7 of Article III: “A co-owner, defined as one of the two WBCCI members who own a single Airstream recreational vehicle and where each pays International and Club dues, shall be deemed to include the spouses or partners of each coowner. Each shall have all the rights and privileges of membership, including voting.” Approved by the members of the Iowa Club at a business meeting pursuant to notice on the day of August, 2022.” Explanation:This Amendment is in compliance with the International. The Iowa Club Constitution states that there is only one vote for each Airstream camper even if the owners are spouses or partners. The Amendment states that there shall be 2 votes per Airstream camper if the owners are spouses or partners. 2.
