The reservation window opens on February 14, 2025, six months in advance. Many book a day or two in advance and modify their reservations later.
Sites are booked on recreation.gov. Review the site details to select an appropriate site. Check it out now so you are familiar with it.
The campground has more than 100 sites for tent and RV camping, including 27 full utility hookup sites for RVs in the Snowberry Loop. Each site is equipped with tables and campfire rings with grills. Firewood is available for purchase. The campground also has restrooms, showers, and a dump station. Most sites also have water.
The summers are usually in the mid-70’s to mid-80’s. The nights cool off and air conditioning is not necessary. The campground is heavily treed and just across the street from the lake.

BIGBEAR.COM is also your source for dining and activities. There is so much to do. Happy Hours and Potlucks are a given, but many restaurants are suitable for group dining—details to be determined.
