NORVA 2025 First Day Hike

This is a No Cost Rally!

Join us for an informal gathering to hike around Mason Neck State Park on New Year's Day! Apparently the "First Day Hikes" are a big deal at Virginia State Parks and we have been told it is their busiest day of the year. The usual $10.00 park entry fee is waived on January 1st. Information on meeting location will be provided soon.

All four Virginia Airstream clubs are participating and setting up hikes at state parks in their respective areas. A club member can attend whichever state park is closest to them. A list of the other three club's chosen parks will be provided soon.

At Mason Neck State Park there are several hikes to choose from ranging from less than one mile to up to three miles. Most are one mile or less. 

Participants should bring light snacks and drinks/water as there is no place to purchase refreshments in the park.
