ELKAMP (the name) was born out of the two words Elevated Camping and has come to define the thoughts and actions of the hosts. It is their mission to elevate the art of camping for their guests.
The park-like grounds are nestled among a cathedral of trees at the foot of Mt. Rainier. Conveniently located just a 15 minute drive to the Nisqually Gate of the Mt. Rainier National Park, this entrance to the National Park is the only park gate remaining open year round.
The park is also close to Mineral Lake, Alder Lake, Packwood, Elbe, the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad and Northwest Trek.
