The Region 1 Gathering will be held May 16-19 in Wales, MA. Our location is down the road from the renowned Brimfield Antiques Flea Market. This outdoor event covers blocks and blocks and blocks of Brimfield and is the oldest of its kind in the United States. It is held only three times a year and will be occurring during our Gathering.
Meanwhile, back at the Gathering, which starts on a Thursday, we will be treated to entertainment featuring Tom Callinan, a folk singer, and storyteller as well as the Airstream documentary “Alumination”. Other activities include bingo, horseshoes, holey board, a campfire, an open house (if you desire to participate), and eating. Also, in the area are biking, hiking, Old Sturbridge Village plus other attractions. We will be having our very own flea market at the campground and encourage people to bring RV items to sell. This is a great opportunity to clean out your garage and RV treasures. And don’t forget, the main reason for this gathering is to have the annual Region One business meeting.
Because the campgrounds in the area are quickly booked for this weekend, we have been fortunate to have reserved 50 sites at Oak Haven Campground. This family-owned campground offers 30 amp service, water, a dump station, a swimming pool, restrooms, showers, and a heated pavilion for our activities. We expect our 50 sites to sell out quickly so we encourage you to act promptly.
