Rollin’ on the River Urban Rally - Madison, Indiana June 9 – 14, 2026


Join us in Historic Madison—the largest contiguous National Historic Landmark District in the U.S.—for a one-of-a-kind Airstream rally along the scenic Ohio River. Enjoy on street parking next to the river in a charming town with the longest accredited National Main Street!

Details:

  • Rally Fee: $350 – 1 Airstream, 1 person; $30 each additional person, children 6 and under free.
  • Tuesday, June 9: Arrival & Kickoff: The rally begins at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, where we will stay overnight with 30‑amp electric and water hookups. Arrive any time on Tuesday. That evening, we’ll host an informational Meet & Greet to review the schedule and answer questions.

  • Wednesday, June 10: Move to Historic Madison

    Before departing the fairgrounds on Wednesday morning, everyone will: Fill freshwater tanks, Empty black and gray tanks at the dump station.

    Groups of 4–5 trailers will then be escorted into Historic Madison and parked along Vaughn Drive and the Legacy Park parking lot on Vaughn.

    Tow vehicles will be unhooked and parked nearby.
     We will have 30‑amp electric, please bring 100’ of power cord/extensions.
        Legacy Park can accommodate 14 trailers with 30-amp service and has three 50‑amp outlets (one already reserved). If you would like one of the remaining outlets, please let us know as soon as possible.


    Wednesday evening: We will have a pizza dinner at Hunter Hall to celebrate our first night in Madison

  • Thursday, June 11:

    Your rally registration includes a Trolley tour on Thursday late morning. More details to come!

  • Friday, June 12:

    Friday morning, Stan Schwenke will present on SkyMed Emergency Travel Insurance, with breakfast provided.

  • Saturday, June 13:

    Saturday morning from 10 am – 2 pm, Woodland Airstream will join us with new models for an Open House, which will be promoted to the public. You may choose to participate by opening your trailer fully, for viewing only (ribbon across doorway), or keep it closed.  Signage will be provided.

    Saturday evening includes:

    A catered banquet dinner at Hunter Hall
    Followed by Madison’s Music in the Park at Bicentennial Park at 7:00 PM (just two blocks away)

  • Sunday, June 14: Departure

    You’ll receive a pass to use the dump station at Riverview Campground (east end of Vaughn Drive).
    Tank pump‑out service may also be available during the rally for a small fee—details coming soon. *Please let us know if you will need to leave early so we can plan accordingly.

Madison, Indiana—a charming river town filled with history, adventure, and small-town hospitality! With 133 blocks of well-preserved Victorian architecture, boutiques, historic landmarks, wineries, and cafés, Madison boasts something for everyone. Wake up to a view of the Ohio River while camping along the tree lined Vaughn Drive. Or look out on your street side to see the Lanier Mansion, Bicentennial Park, Crystal Beach or Lanthier Winery & Gardens.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Clifty Falls State Park with over 10 trails showcasing dramatic waterfalls, canyons, and scenic overlooks. Notable hikes include Clifty Falls, Tunnel Falls, Little Clifty Falls, and Hoffman Falls. Or enjoy Heritage Trail & Hatcher Hill with paved pathways ideal for hiking, biking,

Other adventures can include browsing the Lumber Mill Antique Mall with three floors of unique finds, touring Madison from a boat, trolley, train or biplane, duck pin bowling, or cooling off at the newly renovated Crystal Beach
Aquatic Center – with slides, pool and lazy river (right across from our parking sites). To make exploring easy, reserve a discounted golf cart rental for the entire rally duration.
