Please join the Sierra Nevada Unit for our last camping rally for the year at Walker River State Park. There's lots to do at Walker River and it will certainly offer warmth that might have been missing during those Hope Valley evenings. Fish, canoe or kayak the Walker River, search for wildlife or visit it's informative little museum. Maybe we can entice the Swirsky's to bring their jeep and explore more of the Walker River backcountry and many abandon ghost towns nearby.
Saturday afternoon we will hold a short business meeting (all are welcome to attend - snacks to be provided!), to plan our rally schedule for 2025 and elect officers and trustees for next year. Brian and Jeni hope to contact members prior to the rally to create a list of nominees and get your ideas for great places to visit; north to south and east to west across Nevada and into the Sierra! Where have you always wanted to go but haven’t made it yet? Let us help you make it happen next year!
Saturday evening we'll celebrate the club's 48th Anniversary with food, desserts and campground activities.
