This event will be showcasing hot air balloons on Friday afternoon and Saturday and Sunday mornings, food trucks and local bands. Thanks to the Chamber, we’ve secured the best location in the city for the rally – Heritage Plaza, half a block from Main Street and close to restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, a historic railroad depot, a unique public library (a must see), and historical sculptures. The Chamber is putting together a very nice program for us – to be provided to all attendees. Artesia has really invested in their downtown and one of the planned functions for the rally will be a walking tour. The Chamber is organizing a reception at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center and the local car club wants to join us one day to inspect one another’s rides and rigs.
PLANNED ACTIVITIES
Thursday – Arrival Day
• Welcome reception (heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks) inside the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center. Time TBD
Friday
• Ballon lift from school playgrounds.
• Walking tour through downtown Artesia
Saturday
• Sunrise Ballon Launch from Eagle Draw Park
• Sunset Inflatable Race at Ballon Launch Area
• Ballons, Bands, & Brews at Ballon Launch Area
Sunday – Departure Day.
• Sunrise Ballon Launch from Eagle Draw Park
• Departure before 1:00 pm
RALLY FEE
$50.00 per person (includes reception and tickets to all events).

CAMPSITE INFORMATION
• Number of sites available: 20. Because of the urban nature of this rally, the logistics of getting everyone parked and set up are critical. We are working on a staging plan for ingress and egress to the Heritage Plaza and knowing rig sizes in advance will be necessary to properly organize such.
• What Hookups are available: This is dry camping, come with your fresh tank full and your grey and black tanks empty.
• Fill and Dump availability: We are arranging for onsite pump outs, and the City of Artesia has a free public dump station only a few blocks from Heritage Plaza.
CANCELATION POLICY
As with all Four Corners Unit rallies, we are unable to offer refund of the Rally Fee.
