The afternoon is yours to enjoy but be sure to be back for Happy Hour.

Here’s a little history of our hosting town:

Prescott became the Territorial Capital in 1877, and has a rich history as a frontier gold and silver mining town.  Prescott was a stereotypical “wild west” town during the latter half of the 19th century; famous residence included Doc Holiday and Virgil Earp of the gunfight at the O.K. Corral.

For your sightseeing pleasures you might want to visit Watson Lake just adjacent to our camp.  This is where you can enjoy the outdoors by fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, biking, disc golf, and just enjoy the surrounding beauty. Also, there’s the historic copper mining town Jerome once known at the wickedest town in the west.  And we must not forget about the famous Bourbon Street AKA “Whiskey Row” which is a mere 10 minute drive from Point of Rocks.
