Lost Dutchman State Park Rally

Lost Dutchman, January 18th thru 21st, “Lost Dutchman State Park Rally”

Arizona Airstream Club has prepaid and holds the reserved sites for this event. Attendees will be assigned sites approximately one or two weeks prior to the event.


Campsite Cost: $82/for 3 nights (includes processing fees) (dry camping)

Rally Fee: $23.00 per Adult (includes processing fees)

Named after the fabled lost gold mine, Lost Dutchman State Park is located in Apache Junction in the Sonoran Desert, 40 miles east of Phoenix. Several trails lead from the park into the Superstition wilderness and surrounding Tonto National Forest.

Take a stroll along the Native Plant Trail or hike the challenging Siphon Draw Trail to the top of the Flatiron. Depending on the year’s rainfall, you might be treated to a carpet of desert wildflowers in the spring. 


Our Lost Dutchman State Park campsites are "Rustic" (boondocking).

Registration for camp sites at Lost Dutchman State Park Rally will be $82.00 (for three-nights) (includes processing fees).

All happy hours and meals will be held in the Ramada Palo Verde. For all meals, please bring your own beverages, plates, and eating utensils.  Car pool to the Ramada (1 mile).

5:00 PM - Happy Hour - Bring Heavy Appetizers to share; Games/socializing after dinner.

January 19

8:00 AM - Breakfast (included in rally fee)

12:00 - 1:30 PM - Optional: Dolly Steamboat Scenic Nature Cruise on Canyon Lake. 
Cost: $31.25/person (non-refundable). Leave the campground at 10:30 AM to be in the boarding area no later than 11:30 AM where Shelley will distribute your prepaid tickets. No food or beverage is allowed on board except unopened bottled water. At your discretion, bring your own sandwich to eat while in line to board; snacks (cash only) are available on the boat.

5:00 PM - Happy Hour - Chicken Dinner (included in rally fee), Games/socializing after dinner.

5:00 PM - Optional: Barleen’s Dinner and Show
Cost: $53.00/person (non-refundable). Carpool at 5:00 PM from campground to Barleen’s. The show is "Variety Spectacular" with music from five genres: blues, rock, pop, gospel, and country.

Before You Board

Shelley will pick up the pre-paid tickets at 11:15AM. She will distribute the tickets at 11:30AM in the Boarding Area.

  • Boarding will be done by the captain. We ask that you DO NOT block or go to the walkway until directed by the crew or captain. We will board those with special needs and one helper first. (Please only hold one table for the remainder of your group)
  • No personal beverages, food, alcohol, firearms (CCW holders okay) or weapons allowed. Unopened bottled water is okay
  • A snack bar is available on board with water, sodas, snacks, and alcohol. Please keep in mind that it is cash only. No credit cards, please
  • No glass containers are allowed at Canyon Lake
  • The crew will check all carry-ons, so please have coolers, purses, and small bags unzipped and open for inspection as you board the Dolly
  • Smoking is not allowed onboard
  • Only registered service animals are allowed on cruises

EXCHANGE POLICY

Tickets are non-refundable. You may exchange your tickets for another performance if you give us at least 24 hours advance notice.


Cancellations: (AAC Cancellation Policy)

Simple Concept: If your cancellation results in a cost to the club, you will absorb the cost. The club does not plan the rallies and rally fees to make money, nor should the club be expected to lose money.

There is a strict AAC "Rally Fee" cancellation policy. (Cancellation within 30 days of the Rally will result in forfeiture of the "Rally Fee".)

If you decide to cancel your Attendance please cancel by notifying Arizona Airstream Club of your cancellation. Do not attempt to cancel with Lost Dutchman State Park. Arizona Airstream Club has prepaid and holds the reserved sites for this event. Attendees willl be assigned sites approximately one week prior to the event.
