ARTICLE I
NAME
Sec. 1 This organization shall be called the Boondockers Airstream Club and shall be known as the Boondocking Streamers.
Sec. 2 The Boondockers Airstream Club is an International Board of Trustees chartered Intra Club of the Wally Byam Airstream Club International, Inc.
ARTICLE II
OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE
Sec. 1 The objectives of the Boondocking Streamers are:
a) to connect with and support WBCCI members who boondock,
b) to establish and maintain an electronic forum for fielding questions and discussing the unique challenges of boondocking.
Sec. 2 The Boondocking Streamers may meet at gatherings for purposes of sharing information and connecting socially.
Sec. 3 The Boondocking Streamers will update members and the broader WBCCI community on its activities using media such as the main WBCCI “Events” section, a dedicated area on the public website, periodic articles in the Blue Beret and other approved WBCCI communication methods.
ARTICLE III
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Sec. 1 Regular membership in The Boondocking Streamers is open to any current members of Wally Byam Caravan Club International, Inc.
ARTICLE IV
OFFICERS AND THEIR ELECTION
Sec. 1 The elected officers shall be a President, a Vice President; a Secretary; and a Treasurer. They shall be elected annually for a term of one (1) year or until their successors are elected and have assumed office, but in no case shall the President and Vice President be eligible to serve more than two consecutive terms in the same office. The Secretary and Treasurer may continue to serve more than two consecutive terms, if said officers are duly nominated and elected for each term of office.
Sec. 2 The Past President shall serve as chair of a Nominating Committee as needed.
Sec. 3 A vacancy in the office of Secretary or Treasurer shall be filled by a majority vote of the Executive Committee to complete the unexpired term of office.
Sec. 4 In the event of the death, resignation, or inability to fulfill the duties of the President, the Vice President shall succeed to the office of President and the position of Vice President shall remain vacant until the next election.
ARTICLE V
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Sec. 1 The Executive Committee shall consist of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Immediate Past-President.
Sec. 2 The Executive Committee shall have general supervision of the affairs of the Club.
Sec. 3 The President shall be the Chairman of the Executive Committee. A quorum of the Executive Committee shall be a majority of its members.
ARTICLE VI
MEETINGS
Sec. 1 Executive Committee shall meet in February and August of each year. Additional Executive Committee meetings shall be held at the discretion of the President. The President shall hold an Executive committee meeting at the request of at least two Executive Committee members.
Sec. 2 The annual membership business meeting shall be held during the month of September. A quorum for conducting business at the Annual meeting or any general business meeting shall be not less than 3 members of the Executive Committee and ten percent (10%) of the membership.
Sec. 3 Any general membership meeting called by the Executive Committee requires a notice be sent to the general membership not fewer than fifteen (15) days prior to said meeting.
Sec. 4 Special general membership meetings may be called by the President.
ARTICLE VII
AMENDMENTS
Sec. 1 This Constitution may be amended at a membership meeting by a two-thirds vote of the votes cast, provided the proposed amendment was previously submitted in writing to the Executive Committee.
Sec. 2 Any amendment shall be received by the Executive Committee not later than thirty (30) days in advance of a membership vote.
Sec. 3 A notice containing a proposed amendment or amendments shall be delivered by first class mail or electronically to each member at least fifteen (15) days prior to a meeting to vote on any proposed amendment(s).
Sec. 4 All Amendments to this constitution become effective upon adoption.
