Carter Lake Rally

Additional Information:

The $147 Rally Fee includes the campsite. In addition a $10 per day Larimer County Parks vehicle entry fee is required unless you have a valid yearly parks pass.

• Hike around Carter lake, or try the Devil's Backbone Nature Trail (12 miles north), offering breathtaking landscapes and rock formations.
• Bicycle 4 miles around the lake to Carter Lake Marina, with a lovely patio overlooking the lake or to the adjacent Windjammer Restaurant for a great burger.
• Fish, kayak, paddleboard, or canoe in Carter Lake- a boat ramp is convenient at our campsite. Pontoon Boat rentals are available at the marina.
• Tee off at the picturesque Mariana Butte Golf Course (12 miles north) - Fees $36-$46.
• Sip at SweetHeart Winery (11 miles north), in an idyllic outdoor setting
• Visit local breweries for a cold one- Berthoud Brewery Co (8 miles east), or Verboten Brewery, Loveland Aleworks, Rock Coast Brewery (all ~14 miles northeast). 
• Enjoy the charming town of Estes Park (32 miles northwest), or venture into Rocky Mountain National Park (36 miles northwest).
