What to expect at the 7th Annual Gathering of the Clans Festival

 • Entertainment: A day of highland dancing, piping, and drumming with bands across the province. Don’t forget the live band for the Cèilidh (dance) in the evening. Find your Clan! Several clans set up booths where you can chat and learn more about the history of the clan.

 • Food and Drink: Food trucks and drink, including tastings from distillers and breweries, beer tent

 • Shopping: A vendor village with a variety of artisan vendors.

 • Highland Games: Watch athletes compete in tossing the caber, and sheaf tossing. Care to try your hand at this? Sign up! Don’t worry, you’ll get training in the events and match with competitors like you. But…you must wear a kilt.(Will has one to loan, if you don't want to buy one, lol)

 Details:

  • We have power so come with full water and empty gray/black tanks.
  • No fees. Any costs for the festival is up to you.
  • Meals – we ask people to bring an appetizer for Friday night, instead of having a sit-down meal. Other meals are "on your own"; however, we'll probably all be hanging out together for these times. Very informal. We have BBQs, if you need one.
  • Finally, join Tony in wearing a kilt or other finery for the day!
