Glass Creek Cmpg

Glass Creek is a free Inyo National Forest campground at 7600 feet elevation located roughly halfway between June Lake and Mammoth Lakes, CA 175 miles south of Reno. Sites are dispersed throughout the campground making it easy to find sunshine or shade and group our rigs near each other. It is a dry campground with clean concrete vault style restrooms and no running water so plan on a boondocking weekend. Arrive with plus one, minus two (full freshwater tank and empty or nearly empty grey and black water tanks). Expect daytime highs in the mid 80s, lows mid 50s and little chance of rain so NO special batteries or solar panels are needed for boondocking at Glass Creek Enjoy the nearby Owens River Headwater, Obsidian Dome and Hot Creek areas road and mountain biking, hiking, fishing, the Hot Creek Fish Hatchery, the Hot Springs, driving to distant peaks (high clearance vehicle recommended) and shopping in Mammoth Lakes. Reserve time for the Glass Creek Rally in your calendar. NOTE, Glass Creek is a MID WEEK Rally, Monday thru Friday!
