EVENT DETAILS:
Rally Fees and Site Reservation:
- CAC has reserved and paid for all 33 sites at Manor RV Park so do not call Manor to reserve. All 33 sites are FHU (water, sewer, 30/50A electric). Site lengths vary from 25’ to 38’ so the hosts will assign sites based on Airstream length and the site type reserved..
- Rally Fees for the sites include the camping site for 4 nights, a 5% administrative fee on the site, and PayPal fees. Additionally, there is a $5 per person charge for happy hour food.
- Site types to be selected at registration (not including the $5 per person):
- Premium Riverfront Back-In sites: $393 for 4 nights.
- Back-In sites not on the river: $312 for 4 nights.

Schedule:
- There will be a happy hour each day at 5 pm near the host trailers at sites 39 and 40. Snacks and light fare will be provided with vegetarian options. Please bring your own beverages.
- There are a lot of things to do in Estes Park! We are not scheduling specific group activities. However, everyone is free to schedule their own activities and invite others to join! Slack was used effectively last year to coordinate activities like bike rides, hikes, pickleball, brewery meet-ups, etc.
9th Annual Estes Park Wine Festival:
- The festival will be open from 11:00 AM till 5:00 PM Saturday and 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Sunday. https://estesparkwinefestival.com/
Rocky Mountain National Park:
- While there are multiple entrances to the park, the closest Beaver Meadows entrance is only 2.8 miles from Manor RV Park!
- Please be aware of the timed-entry permits required to enter the park in addition to entrance fees or a park pass. Timed entry permits will be required for entry between 9 am & 2 pm for general admission, and between 5 am and 6 pm for the Bear Lake Corridor. They release 40% of tickets the evening before at 5 pm, so it is possible to get one if you are quick with the computer. Note: if you arrive early, no need for a permit! This also applies to outlying areas of the park like Lumpy Ridge, Lily Lake, Longs Peak, Wild Basin and others. See https://www.nps.gov/romo/planyourvisit/fees.htm
Inside RMNP:
- There are MANY hikes in the park but a few favorites are:
- From Wild Basin entrance: Ouzel Falls hike
- From Beaver Meadows Entrance: Mills Lake hike via Glacier Gorge, Emerald Lake hike via Bear Lake.
- From Lumpy Ridge: Lumpy Ridge trail (easier) and Gem Lake trail.
- Drive through RMNP to Grand Lake: This is a beautiful drive through the park over Trail Ridge Road with a summit of 12,183’. On the other side you can explore the sweet town of Grand Lake and enjoy spectacular views by kayak on Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake. https://www.mountainpaddlers.com/ Allow ~1.5 hours each way but double check this with Google or Apple Maps.
Outside RMNP hikes:
- Hermit Park has two hikes that we like. Kruger Rock Trail and some of the Homestead hikes are enjoyable. These are not in RMNP so you don’t need a timed entry pass. There is a day pass fee per vehicle available at the entrance. https://www.larimer.gov/naturalresources/parks/hermit-park#:~:text=It%20is%20open%20to%20walk,southeast%20of%20Estes%20Park%2C%20Colorado.
Fishing:
- There is fishing in RMNP, in the nearby Big Thompson River, and at Lake Estes. At the parking areas around Lake Estes, and below the dam with access from Mall Rd., a vehicle permit is required. Permits can be purchased at the Lake Estes Marina. https://evrpd.colorado.gov/boating/parking-permits
- Kirk’s Fly Shop is a great resource for fly fishing information and equipment. They also offer guided trips. https://www.kirksflyshop.com/guided-fly-fishing/
Estes Valley Community Center and Pickleball:
- The Community Center is fairly new and has swimming, exercise equipment, a gym, etc. Day passes can be purchased. https://evrpd.colorado.gov/community-center
- There are 4 free pickleball courts at Stanley Park which is adjacent to the Community Center. You can use Slack to gather a group! https://evrpd.colorado.gov/stanley-park
Lake Estes:
- The Lake Estes Marina is the place if anyone wants to get out on the lake! You can use your own kayak/boat or rent a variety of boats there. Check with the Marina for details. https://evrpd.colorado.gov/lake-estes-marina
- The Marina also has fishing licenses, fishing tackle and parking passes.
Art:
- For the artists or art collectors in the group, this Estes art center is such a gem! https://www.artcenterofestes.com/
Golf:
- For golf enthusiasts, there is a 9-hole and an 18-hole golf course. Both are very scenic. https://evrpd.colorado.gov/golf-courses
E-biking:
- The Visitor’s Center is a good place to gather to access the trail around Lake Estes and adjoining trails
- The Mountain Shop is one place for bike rentals if you don’t have your own. https://www.estesparkmountainshop.com/summer-rentals
