Afterwards our group will have a self-guided museum tour. We will enjoy lunch together at either Devil Dog Diner (cafeteria-style) or Tun Tavern, located within the museum. We will also show the classic Airstream film Cape Town to Cairo where 41 Airstreams traveled 13,000 miles up the African continent in 1959. A very special treat is a video conference / zoom meeting with Dale Schwamborn, Wally Byam's nephew, who was on the Capetown to Cairo caravan. Dale has a vivid memory of the events and can answer a myriad of questions not answered in the film. Don't miss this opportunity. Dale usually speaks to groups of hundreds at Intternational Rallies, but we will have a private audience..
