Copper Breaks State Park

Early Americans, including the Comanche, camped in this part of North Texas for thousands of years, replenishing body and soul. You can do the same today at Copper Breaks State Park.

We will hold the June Rally at Copper Breaks State Park in Quanah, TX.  This is a wonderful park with lots to do -- fishing, swimming and hiking as well as exploring the nearby historic town of Quanah.  There is an air conditioned clubhouse that we will rent for our happy hour and pot luck meals.  Some may want to arrive on Thursday.  This will be the starting point for "THE ROADS LESS TRAVELED CARAVAN" to the 2020 VAC Rendezvous and International.

Dark SkyCopper Breaks State Park is also a wonderful site for stargazing and night sky photography.  Moonrise while we will be there is around midnight.
