Akron Ohio Airstream Club Mystery Rally - June 2023

 

We can't tell you too many specifics since the whole idea is a June Mystery Rally, but we can assure you it's going to be lots of fun. Just suffice it to say that you will have some unique opportunities created just for our club! So...here's some of the line-up

You get the idea! Your hosts have put together a pretty comprehensive agenda of activities to amuse and amaze you. but we need to get this rolling! As you know, June is go-time for camping, and the campground we have selected is going to need confirmation and reservations by February 24 in order to secure sites for us.

The theme of this June Mystery Rally is: "Look no further than your own backyard". No more spoiler alerts!!!

The dates are: Thursday June 8th, Friday June 9th, Saturday June 10th and a Sunday June 11th departure. Two

(2) dinner entrees are going to be provided - we will ask for sides and desserts from you. We will be going to a brewery for the third dinner; you can order off the menu. Brunch will be provided on the final day, with grab n° go lunches and breakfasts the other days. Final food costs will be calculated once the attendance count is determined.

Camping Costs: campgrounds/sites for a group our size come at a premium but we've secured a nice location with the option of back-in sites, pull-through sites, or patio-included sites. The prices range from $58 to $89 per night, with a 3-night minimum. The campground requires a 1/3 deposit ($58/night for the basic back-in site) at the time of final reservation, which is February 24th. You will need to remit this 1/3 amount (depending on your camping preference as available) NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 24TH TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT!

You will pay your remaining campsite balance directly to the campground upon check-in. We are also being provided with a pavilion for our gathering spot - and will do our best to keep all of us in as close proximity to each other as possible. The bottom line, cost-wise:

Camping fee will be from $174 to $267 total, with 1/3 due on February 24th*

Food plus Tour Ticket costs - approximately $75 per person - due at Rally

*(Since this is a Mystery Rally, you will pay your deposit to the Akron Airstream Club; that's 1/3 deposit for your campsite fee by FEBRUARY 24th, and the Club will pay the campground. Your remaining balance for your site can be paid directly to the campground upon your check-in!)

Rigs can coordinate an arrival caravan based on geography-that signals the unravelling of the destination piece of the Mystery Rally. C'mon...don't miss this fun adventure!
