Kentucky Derby Rally

Our annual Derby Rally is always a well attended highlight of the camping season. We will enjoy a Derby Watch Party  with a Derby Day potluck dinner (entree provided by the club), a derby hat contest, a pet parade, and a fund raising event for our club's chosen charity. 

There's so much to do in and around Lexington! Bourbon tasting, biking, hiking, shopping, the Horse Park and the Museum of the Horse, restaurants for all tastes and budgets. Come prepared to explore!

Call the Kentucky Horse Park Campground to reserve your site at 859-259-4257, press 2 for the campground store, and be sure to tell them you are camping with the Kentucky Airstream Club. Call the rally host if you have any questions.

• Friday: Potluck Breakfast . 
• Saturday is Derby Day! Happy Hour (bring an appetizer to share) will be followed by our Potluck Dinner. Club will provide KFC chicken. Bring a side or dessert. Please let us know by the reservation deadline if you will have guests joining us for the Derby Day Dinner.There will be a $5.00 charge for guests to help cover the cost of the entree.

New on the schedule this year will be an Open House for Rally attendees at Woodland Airstream in Georgetown, KY. That will be Friday afternoon.

That still leaves plenty of room on the schedule to explore the area attractions on your own. Be sure to check out the shows at the Horse Park, as well as local shops and restaurants.
