DISCOVER WAYPOINT VINTAGE TRAILER AT VENTURA, CALIFORNIA
Join us at the unique Waypoint Ventura Vintage Trailer Hotel and Campground. The park has a delightful collection of vintage RVs as hotel rooms for those not lucky enough to own Airstreams. They are available to rent by the night and are so cool to see. But it is also an RV park, and we have secured seven full hook-up sites for three nights in May. The location is excellent. It is just steps from the Ventura Pier, which has a restaurant, fishing, and beach. Restaurants line nearby Thompson Blvd. Each evening, the park lights the cozy fire pits, which are all set up with chairs, blankets, and s’more makings.
Ventura is a gateway to adventure and sightseeing. The Channel Islands National Park is located in Ventura Harbor, just 5 miles away. The visitor center has lots of information; you can get your NP passport stamped! Island Packers has a fleet of cruising boats that offer daily trips to the Channel Islands. These five protected islands are uninhabited but open for day visitors, as well as yachtsmen. The harbor is lined with shops and restaurants. You can hike in the dunes. Bring your boogie boards and stop awhile at Ventura State Beach.
Historic and beautiful Santa Barbara, with a lovely harbor, is just a few miles up the road. Wineries are nearby and delightful.
Scenic Ojai is inland, a few miles away. Ojai is charming; you can hike, shop luxury boutiques and galleries, and dine in the village.
This rally must be booked with the club. First come first serve for sites. The rally is $325 for three nights and includes a small rally fee. The full amount is due at the time of booking. Cancellations received before May 1st will receive a full refund.
