Equipment every rig should carry on a caravan
Caravaner Checklist
Caravanners should carry this equipment on Club caravans. Check it before you leave home so you can hook up, share water, and handle a problem on the road without borrowing from the next rig.
- Fuses for the battery system and water pump
- Fire extinguishers
- Wheel chocks
- One 5/8" I.D. 25 ft. and one 5/8" I.D.50 ft. non-toxic water hose
- Two free-flowing Ys with caps
- One water Y with shut-offs
- Sewer hose - 10 ft. minimum
- One soft rubber sewer gasket
- Sanitary drain hose for gray water
- Wastewater bucket
- Leveling blocks
- Tow cable
- Highway safety triangles
- Water jug
- Small shovel
- 50 ft. electrical extension - 12 gauge
