A typical new member experience:

As a new member of Airstream Club International (ACI), my first trip with the organization was an exciting and memorable experience. I had always been interested in Airstream travel, and joining ACI gave me the opportunity to meet other like-minded individuals and learn more about the Airstream lifestyle.

I decided to attend a regional rally in the Pacific Northwest, which was organized by the local ACI unit in the area. The rally was held at a beautiful campground near the coast, and I was amazed by the variety of Airstreams that were there, ranging from vintage models to modern trailers.

During the rally, I had the opportunity to participate in a number of activities, including educational seminars, social events, and group outings to local attractions. I also enjoyed getting to know other ACI members and hearing about their travels and experiences with their Airstreams.

Overall, my first trip with ACI was a wonderful introduction to the organization and the Airstream lifestyle. I left the rally feeling inspired and excited to plan my next adventure with ACI.

Preparing for your first trip

If you have just received a new Airstream, congratulations! Owning an Airstream can be a wonderful and rewarding experience, but it's important to be prepared before setting out on your first trip. Here are a few things you might want to consider when getting ready for your new Airstream:

Essential equipment: Make sure you have all the necessary equipment and supplies for your Airstream, including hoses, connectors, and a power cord for hooking up to electricity, as well as a sewage hose and water filter for emptying the tanks.

Safety equipment: It's important to be prepared for emergencies, so make sure you have a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and other safety items on hand.

Tools and maintenance supplies: Keep a basic tool kit and any necessary maintenance supplies, such as oil, grease, and tire inflator, on hand in case you need to make any repairs or adjustments while on the road.

Personal items: Don't forget to pack your personal items, such as clothing, toiletries, and any necessary medications. It's also a good idea to bring along any necessary documents, such as your driver's license and registration for your Airstream.

By making sure you have these things on hand, you can be well-prepared for your first Airstream trip and enjoy all the adventures that come your way.
