What are the differences between an intra-club and a special interest group?
Intra-Club
Intra-clubs are officially recognized groups within the WBCCI that provide members with opportunities to connect around shared interests and activities. Membership is open to WBCCI members in good standing, and new intra-clubs can be formed by submitting a proposed constitution, bylaws, and letter of intent to Headquarters for review and approval.
To help keep intra-clubs organized and active, each group maintains elected officers, holds meetings, and provides an annual “State of the Intra-Club” report that highlights activities, membership, finances, and the overall health of the club. Intra-clubs also submit their officer information each year for inclusion in the Annual Membership Directory, and they may share news and updates with the wider membership through the Blue Beret.
Special Interest Group
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are a fun and easy way for members with shared hobbies or interests—like bird watching, mountain biking, and more—to connect within the WBCCI. Once approved by the Executive Council, SIGs can communicate through the WBCCI website, organize informal gatherings, and stay connected through email, phone, or in-person events.
SIGs are designed to be simple and flexible: they do not require constitutions, bylaws, annual reports, dues, or membership fees. Any WBCCI members in good standing can start a SIG by submitting their group’s purpose and requesting recognition through Club Headquarters. Each group has a leader to help coordinate activities, schedules, and membership.

Full Timers Special Interest Group
The Full-Timer Special Interest Group (SIG) exists to support, connect, and inform ACI members who are living full-time in their Airstreams - or actively exploring the lifestyle - through low-overhead, member-driven engagement that reflects how this community participates in the Club.
