Kentucky Distillery

Embark on a journey that blends American history, scenic beauty, and a splash of Kentucky's world-famous bourbon with the Dead Presidents and a Bourbon Chaser caravan hosted by the NORVA Airstream Club from May 13–24, 2025. Led by Drew and Elizabeth Morgan, this 12-day adventure will guide you through Ohio and Kentucky, two states rich in presidential heritage and natural splendor. Starting in Canton, Ohio, you'll explore historical gems and presidential libraries revolving around the lives and times of William McKinley, Warren G. Harding, U.S. Grant, and Rutherford B. Hayes. We will also visit the NFL Hall of Fame, and sites along Lake Erie and the Ohio River, all while enjoying relaxing stays at picturesque state parks. As you travel south, enjoy visits to the Airstream Mothership in Jackson Center and Wright-Patterson National Air Force Museum before winding up in the heart of Kentucky's Bourbon Trail, where you'll have the chance to explore world-renowned distilleries like Maker's Mark and Jim Beam.

With a pace designed for easygoing exploration, this caravan offers ample time for sightseeing and relaxation. You'll spend at least two nights at each campground, with only short, manageable drives between stops. Enjoy group meals, local wineries, and brewery tours, including a visit to Ohio's oldest winery and a farewell dinner in Bardstown, KY, all while taking in the stunning springtime landscapes. Whether you're a history buff, a bourbon enthusiast, or simply looking for a scenic getaway, this caravan provides the perfect blend of education, adventure, and leisure. So, pack your bags and hitch your rig, bring your curiosity, and join us for an unforgettable trip that blends history with fun before Memorial Day weekend kicks off!

The current cost estimate is $1300 for two; and $900 for a single. Sign-up at the registration button link above before January 7, 2025. A $500 deposit is due at sign-up.
