When the word went out about the Oregon Airstream Club Leak Test Rally in Cannon Beach, the rally filled in 24 hours!  So we’ve scheduled a second one, also at the beach. 

This one is at a place we’ve not held a rally before but we think it’s going to be terrific.  Heceta Beach RV Park in Florence, Oregon.  For those mid-valley Airstreamers who wonder when more activity is coming your way, this is it!  

The RV park has full hookups at every site, 50 amp and sewer included.  Two blocks from the beach, agate hunting galore and crab fresh off the boat, close to downtown Florence for meals and touristing, and easy drives to lighthouses and covered bridges.  They have a nice meeting room with a kitchen, sparkling clean restrooms and showers, a workout gym, big screen TV for those Ducks or Beavers games, and even a mini-mart.  

The rally is scheduled for Thursday through Sunday but we have an option for Friday through Sunday if your schedule works out better than way.  Thursday night is potluck, Friday night on your own in Florence.  Saturday night we’ll be having an old fashioned dinner - meatloaf, the real deal mashed potatoes, and a big salad.  Breakfast Friday will be pancakes, juice and sausage, Saturday breakfast on your own but coffee in the meeting room.  Sunday will be a grab and go with fresh fruit, yogurt and pastries.
