The Oregon Airstream Club would like to invite you to join us on caravans to the 2023 Airstream International Rally in Rock Springs, Wyoming, June 19-23, 2023. The rally officially starts on the 24th.
We have six Oregon members who have volunteered to lead three caravans; two caravans are meeting up in Baker City (birthplace of Wally Byam), and one meeting up in Burns, Oregon before departing for Wyoming.
Registration includes 4 nights of camping with full hookups. $300 for rigs with two members, $275 for solo travelers. There will be two leaders for each caravan and we will travel under 250 miles a day so you will have time to explore the area where you will be camped each night. All three caravans will spend the last evening together, June 22nd, at Fort Bridger RV in Wyoming and we will go in as a group to Rock Springs where we will have a reserved space for our group.
Once the caravans are filled, you will be contacted by your caravan leaders with more details. We will assign you to the caravan start location based on the closest location to your home.
These caravans are ONLY for the trip TO Wyoming; as participants, you may want to route through Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons on the way back home and I will help facilitate those groups if you want to join with others.
Questions? Email me at email@example.com.
Please note: These caravans may sell out quickly and don’t hesitate to sign up for the wait list. If we have volunteer leaders step forward and more campsites can be reserved, there may be a possibility to add more caravans. If not, there are always cancellations and members on the wait list will be contacted in the order they signed up.
Finally, you MUST be registered for the International Rally before signing up for the caravan. We will arrive at the rally on June 23rd and if you registered for a date before or after the 23rd, contact ACI HQ at (937) 596-5211, tell them you are now coming in with the Oregon caravan, and they will be happy to help you change your arrival date.
