Enjoy this laid-back rally from your RV site, right on the middle branch of the Willamette River. You’ll fall asleep to sound of the water rushing by and get your exercise, walking all around the park. Sit on a bench and watch the water rushing by with nothing in particular to do. There’s a great dog run area and beautiful flowers everywhere in the park. Enjoy soft serve ice cream in the pavilion or a group campfire in the middle of the park. It’s a weekend in the fall, so you can bet there will be college football on the big screen in the pavilion. You can drive to Oakridge for some nibbles and a good grocery store for something you forgot.
Or, if you like, you can experience this as a more active rally. You can drive farther east and do some hiking in the Waldo Lake area. Or bike on nearby world class mountain bike trails in the Willamette National Forest.
River rafting is back at Casey's! Cascades Outdoor Center is offering rafting trips down the Willamette River, picking up and dropping off at Casey's Riverside RV Park. Contact the front desk for more information.
