Pinnacles’ night sky is sufficiently dark for stargazing and campers have a good chance of seeing wildlife; keep your eyes peeled for deer, coyote, racoon, foxes, and a wide variety of birds. The campground is located on the eastern side of the park and is open year-round. It boasts RV sites with electric hook-ups, a swimming pool, showers, flush toilets and a surprisingly well-stocked camp store. Drinking water and a dump station is located on site. If you haven’t already reserved your site go on-line at: https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/234015 and book any site in the D loop.
