“Remember Goliad “ was the battle-cry during the Texas Revolution. The Goliad Massacre immeasurably garnered support for the cause against Mexico both within Texas and in the United States, thus contributing greatly to the Texan victory at the Battle of San Jacinto and sustaining the independence of the Republic of Texas.

Information and Registration

Rich in history with the San Antonio River running through it, this state park is definitely worth the visit. The Spanish mission originally built in 1722 was moved to its current area in 1742 and reconstructed in 1930.

The rally officially starts on Thursday, September 12 at 4 p.m. and ends on Sunday, September 15 at 10:00 a.m.
