Rollin to the Big Easy

N-2023-F
Rollin to the Big Easy

Our caravan over thirteen days will introduce some of the best sites, sounds and food which Louisiana has to offer. You’ll learn all about Louisiana crawfish, visit a crawfish farm and Co- op and partake in our own crawfish boil. Louisiana sugar plantations and distilleries date back to the mid 1700’s and you’ll have an opportunity to sip and sample Bayou Rum at their distillery. Upon arrival in New Orleans, we have dinner reservations at one of the most famous Five Star restaurants. While in the French Quarter we share the location of the best beignets (not where you think). We also attend the New Orleans School of Cooking to learn and taste Louisiana's best. You’ll attend a special private jazz performance at the world famous Preservation Hall. Enjoy a sunset dinner river cruise on the Mississippi aboard the Creole Queen paddle wheeler. In Breaux Bridge, glide through 500 year old moss covered cypress trees while alligator and bird watching on our Lake Martin swamp tour and enjoy a local original Cajun dance hall. Along the way you might even learn the difference between Cajun & Creole cultures.
