One special thing about this rally is that we have invited the East Texas Lake Unit to join us, meaning we'll make new friends!  Here is a map of the campground and trails with an additional interpretive guide to hikes and walks, and here's what we have planned!

Friday:
7:00 PM BYOS (Bring your own stuff) Happy Hour and snacks
Saturday:
8:45 AM
Coffee, continental breakfast (Brandons are providing), and monthly meeting.  Up for discussion are the offices coming up for election or volunteers, recap of the Road Trip to Maine with suggestions for those who want to attend the International Rally in Rock Springs, WY June 24-30, 2023, and discussion of potential campout venues for our club next year.
10:00 AM Ranger-guided walk (about an hour) where we'll hear about the lake, the Tawakoni people, and the native flora and fauna.  We will meet at the Spring Point Branch Trailhead (in the Spring Point camping loop between sites 62 and 63) at 10:00am.
11:00 AM - 4:00 PM On your own to relax, visit nearby Canton (no market this weekend but there are a number of antique and craft shops that are open all weekends), or head to a couple of museums in Terrell (No. 1 British Flying Training School Museum , Terrell Heritage Museum , and the Griffith Homeplace Museum ).
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM (or when we're tired) Campsite Putt Putt!  Bring a putter and some balls (if you have extra putters/balls bring those too for folks that might not have their own).  Each campsite will build its own "hole" to create our own NTxAC golf course.
6:30 Fiesta Dinner--the Wills are providing meat and a few toppings.  Please bring your favorite sides for a rocking TexMex evening.
7:30 PM Hang around and visit; I bet a few card/domino games can break out if we have interest.
Sunday:
Grab your coffee and say "sayonara down the road" before checking out.
