Test your boondocking expertise by camping in your Airstream with no hookups – no electricity, no water, no sewer. But we’ll have a lot of fun while we’re there.
We have reserved our sites from Thursday through Saturday, so you can stay for two or three nights – your choice. Check-in on Thursday is 3:00 pm. You can arrive anytime on Friday. Check in with the Rally Hosts before parking to confirm your site location. Generators are permitted, but please be mindful of others about your hours of operation.
NOTE. There is a small RV park on site if you must have hookups, but you’ll need to make your own reservations (www.starlightmt.com) and you’ll still need to register for the Rally using JotForm.
Thursday will be on your own with a gathering for Happy Hour at 5:00 pm.
Friday’s activities start in the afternoon with Happy Hour followed by a Potluck Dinner. The Hosts will provide a Taco Bar with all the fixings. After dinner is Starlight’s production of Grease. Curtain is at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $41.33 per person and the performances always sell out, particularly this weekend. You must register for the rally and sign up for the show by May 20th. Any unsold tickets will be returned to Starlight after this date.
On Saturday, we’ll head to the Terrace Lakes Wine and Art Festival located at the golf course just north of town. Entrance is free. There will be wine tasting, music, food and lots of vendor booths displaying arts and crafts. Lunch is on your own. For more information, go to www.terracelakes.com and navigate to “Calendar and Events”.
Saturday Dinner will be no-host at 6:00 pm at the Dirty Shame Saloon (www.thedirtyshamesaloon.com), which is located a short walk across Middle Fork Rd from the Starlight property.
Sunday is on your own. Checkout time is 11 am.
For those that are interested, SHREK the Musical is the Starlight show on Thursday and SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN is the show on Saturday. You’ll need to make your own reservations (www.starlightmt.com). Curtain is at 8:00 pm both nights.
You may want to bring a swimsuit on this trip. There is a nice hot springs swimming pool at Terrace Lakes. You can also float the Middle Fork of the Payette river in an inner tube (you must bring your own tube).
There are fire rings in the campground for social gatherings, but no firewood is provided.
