The Sierra Nevada Unit is substituting a luncheon this Saturday at the Hometown Cafe in Lemmon Valley for the Boca Rest Rally and Business Meeting.
Gail and I were on our way north, camped above Independence, CA, when we received a phone call this morning for a family emergency back east. As a result we turned around and headed home. To further compound things some of our faithful members are not able to camp at Boca and handle the rally and business meeting in our absence.
The Hometown Cafe luncheon is Saturday, October 19th at 11:30 AM. A brief business meeting with elections will follow or be woven into lunch and chatter amongst the attendees. It will include elections taking ballots from the members in attendance and counting any ballots received by email. Please note that email ballots to the SNU email address, snu157@wbcci.net maybe sent in through Friday, October 18th.
