The Rye Patch Rally will offer the Sierra Nevada Unit members a great opportunity to get away from dealing with the stress from COVID issues, visit with old and new friends and yet socially distance themselves in a great setting in the River Campground group site. Participation in our typical SNU shared meals is optional; you may eat in your Airstream or pick a spot among us to eat. The area offers fishing, hiking and historical points of interest to visit.
Late arrivals or Airstreamers just out for a long day ride are welcome.
While restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers are a short walk away, there is no water to electrical in the group site. Make sure you come prepared with a full potable water tank and propane; one of our members made a mad dash 30 minutes west to Lovelock in 2019 searching for propane while his wife Gail warmed her self and their security detail with the oven in their Airstream.
A Day Use Entrance Pass or one of the many Nevada All Access, Senior Citizen or Disabled Veteran Permits is required
