This is a beautiful time to visit this area with wildflowers blooming, abundant wildlife, music festivals, casinos, and mild temperatures. Fishing is world-class with many trophy waters available to fish for trout or bass. Not an angler? Then this area is for you, too.. Filled with quaint small towns in the Tri-City area, historic sites, waterfalls, hiking, mountain biking, birding, wildlife sightings, and springtime foliage.
Your visit to this area will help the local community to continue to recover from the floods of Hurricane Helene. You can make this rally into an extended trip in a great area with lots of fun activities and beautiful scenery.
Asheville, NC is only 1 hour and 15 minutes from the campsite with world-class restaurants, an arts district, and great shopping.

Call Chris at Bristol/Kingsport KOA Holiday 423-383-8883 directly to reserve your campground. The earlier the better. It's a smaller campground and will fill up fast. There is a 10% discount for all who register for the rally offered by the owners. A few sites are back in 30AMP, but most are pull-thru 50 amps. All sites are full hookups. Bathhouses, laundry room, common areas for our cookouts, and dog park are some of the extras at this great campground. The host is holding 25 spaces until March 1st. You can still register after that date if space is available.
Dinners
May 21st dinner at 6:00 pm with fishing guides cooking dinner at the campground (all campers welcome) to share fishing and exploring stories. Price for the main course is $10. GUIDED FLOAT TRIPS on the South Holston River, Watauga River, or Nolochucky River*.
A block of guide times will be reserved until 2/15/2025 for the 19th, 20th, and 21st. Two anglers per drift boat. $600/ boat for a full day.

Text or call John Contis. Tell him you are with the Indie Rally. Lunch is provided on the float trips. John will take a 50% deposit with a credit card, check, or Venmo of $150 per person or $300 per drift boat per day to secure your place. Three days of guided trips are reserved, May 19, 20, and 21. Indicate how many days you wish to fish with a guide. If you are registering as a single angler, he will assign you to a drift boat with another person.
Spots will be held until February 15th on reserve. After February 15th, reserved spots will be available to the public. Call John directly if you missed the deadline and he will see if he can accommodate you.

GUIDED WADE TRIPS are available for many other rivers in the area. Prices vary according to half or full day. The full-day Wade Trips include all equipment, flies, non-alcoholic drinks, and lunch.
